The young lamb is often very shy if you try to approach them, and of course the mother would not want you anywhere near them. Yet there are exceptions, and one day recently I was simply pausing upon walking up a hill with my bicycle, and a little lamb ran out of its field through a hole in the fenceing and basically wanted to come and say hello to me, as of course I picked the little fellow up and lifted her back in the field, as then in the next moment I had six angry mother sheep hurrying to the scene and in sheep language shouting at me, and showing considerable agression as of course I backed away. Then when they quietened down I was able to approach the mother sheep and stroke their faces as really they were as tame as the innocent lambs. And on I cycled. Everyone was happy.

In the Mountains of North Wales, UK

The day was very clear, yet with a cool wind and nice sunshine. The advantage of my days travelling was that it stayed dry, and it was a joy to bicycle after carrying my machine in my red van, and so I making two short bike rides this day.
